In Loving Memory of
Gail Yvonne McMillian
         “Dia”
Gail Yvonne McMillian was born June 1, 1965 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Victoria Smith-McMillian and the late Charles McMillian.
Gail received her education at Arsenal Tech high school and studied nursing at Lockyear College where she obtained her certificate as a QMA.
Gail worked as a QMA in her younger years and transitioned over to food services where she worked for over 20 years, serving IPS and township schools.
Gail was a wonderful, outgoing, giving, and proud mother, “Glam-ma”, niece, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She was a comical and gregarious woman! Gail cherished her family and friends, and most importantly she enjoyed her grandbabies, they were her world. Gail had an eye for fashion and design, in which we all knew by the way she carried herself, accessorized from head to toe. Lord knows she’ll be missed, leaving behind so many memories, Gail was some kind of wonderful!
Gail was called upon to by the Lord, November 22, 2018 the age of 53 years old, to live in her new home in Heaven. She was proceeded in death by her parents Victoria Smith-McMillian and Charles McMillian, her baby brother Stennitt Kelly McMillian, and two nieces Chandi R. McMillian and Char L. McMillian.
Gail is survived by her siblings Victor F. McMillian(Sheila), Sandra F. McMillian-Mitchell, Terry McMillian, Charles O. McMillian, Daryl E. Rice(Barbara), her son Terrence D. Johnson(Latosha), her grandchildren Jaylen, Shavon, and Trinity, her fiancé Edward L. Arnold, a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends and family may visit from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 1, 2018, at Indiana Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN  46250.  A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m.

    Dear McMillian Family,

Please accept my condolences for your loss. Death is not easy to accept, much less to cope with. It’s comforting to know that Our loving Heavenly Father Jehovah understands your pain. He promises us  that “He will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more neither morning nor outcry nor pain any more..” (Revelation 21:4) He promises to return our loved ones who have passed. (Acts 24:15) To learn more about God and his loving purpose for us please visit JW.org.

My sincere condolences to the entire family. Gail was most certainly a bright light and the world is a little dimmer without her in it. May she rest in peace and may you all rest in the knowledge that she is no longer suffering in her physical body. May God bless and comfort each of you.

Expressing our condolences and sadness to you and the rest of the family. No words could ever explain away, or soothe the pain right now, but take comfort that the bible says Gail has “everlasting life” (John 3:16). Shedding her earthly shell for a heavenly robe, she is at peace. Her light will continue to shine through you and her grandbabies. During this difficult time, remember you have family that love and support you. God bless.
    Your cousins in Detroit.
